why are vacuum flasks with glass walls better than d ones with stainless steel walls better 2 keep tings hot?
the vacuum flask has a serious disadvantage that it is easily broken if dropped.The glass walls could be replaced by stainless steel. This kind of vacuum flask is shockproof but it is not as good for keeping things hot.why not?
The above two answers are correct. Also, steel flasks seldom use a vacuum. Captive air is a good insulator, but not as good as a vacuum. Some steel flasks don't even use a double wall with captive air. They rely on the air gap between the steel flask and a plastic decorative exterior.
